A large international oil field service company is currently
seeking a product engineer to head their Drilling Tools & Remedial
division in Odessa, TX.
Currently operating in 85 countries, this company is known for their internal growth program. It is a well-known organization that takes care of their greatest asset, their people.
This position is a high profile role that combines the technical side of drilling with the relationship side of sales. The Product Engineer will be responsible for coordinating with multiple teams to collect data and gather feedback about new concepts and products. They will provide product recommendations, competitive intelligence, and sales support.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a solid knowledge of the technical terms related to Driling Tools, as well as strong interpersonal skills. A BS degree in either Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering is sought, however Geology degrees will be considered. In addition, the candidate should have at least 3 years of related oilfield experience.
