ENGINEERING JOBS
PT. AMEC Berca Indonesia (ABI) is a multi-national company providing engineering & asset support services to the Indonesian oil and gas industry. ABI plans to expand to other market segments and develop into EPC Company. Now, the company is seeking high qualified candidates to strengthen our team.
URGENTLY REQUIRED
1. SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT (SME) – Operations and Maintenance
Responsibilities:
• Working with a technical writer to develop content for operating and maintenance procedures; using your process knowledge and site-specific engineering information.
• Reporting project progress to the Project Manager.
• Contacting client and vendor representatives to obtain and clarify technical information; working remotely and during on-site visits.
• Working within a team environment, using strong interpersonal skills while enabling seamless interaction with internal departments and client representatives.
• Generating requests for information for client and vendor representatives.
• Following and maintaining project standards.
• Potentially leading and supporting a team of in-country technical writers.
Qualifications:
• Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of ten (10) years operating experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Technical writing experience and/or equivalent process industry training experience is preferred.
• Excellent English reading and writing skills are essential; additional languages considered an asset.
• Ability to comprehend P&ID’s, vendor information, and process control descriptions.
• A strong proficiency in MS Word is required.
• Must be able to relocate to Jakarta or work on a rotational basis.
• Must be able to travel and have a willingness to work on occasion in various field locations.
2. TECHNICAL PROCEDURE WRITER
Responsibilities:
• Developing content for operating and maintenance procedures; using site-specific engineering information.
• Creating assessments and training plans to supplement operation and maintenance procedures.
• Reporting project progress to the Project Manager.
• Contacting client Subject Matter Experts to obtain and clarify technical information; working remotely and during on-site visits.
• Working within a team environment, using strong interpersonal skills while enabling seamless interaction with internal departments and client representatives.
• Generating requests for information from the client representative or Subject Matter Expert.
• Implementing in-house and client edits, while maintaining project standards.
• Potentially leading and supporting a team of in-country technical writers.
Qualifications:
• Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. Applicants with operating experience in the oil and gas industry also considered.
• 5+ years of technical writing experience and/or equivalent process industry training experience.

3. PROJECT OPERATION MANAGER
•Minimum Bachelor degree of any engineering background
• Minimum 15 years of multi-disciplinarily design engineering experience in the oil & gas industry, encompassing conceptual designs and FEED through to detailed design and brown field engineering modifications
• Experience team leader with a proven track record of performance improvement
• Excellent communication in both written and spoken in Bahasa Indonesia and English
4.PIPING LEAD ENGINEER
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical major
• Minimum 12 years of piping engineering and design experience in the oil & gas industry
• Capable being a team leader with a proven track record of performance improvement
• Excellent communications in both written and spoken in English and Bahasa Indonesia
5. SENIOR PIPING ENGINEER (Stress)
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical + substantial project design experience
• Minimum 7 years offshore project experience in the oil & gas industry
• Excellent technical communication and co-ordination skills.
• Diploma of engineering or equivalent
• Substantial proven experience of detailed piping stress design gained with design contractors
• A thorough knowledge of the codes and standards and a good piping stress design for chemical / oil and gas facilities.
6.LEAD PROCESS ENGINEER
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of process engineering and design experience in the oil & gas industry
• Excellent communications in both written and spoken in English and Bahasa Indonesia
7. SENIOR TECHNICAL SAFETY ENGINEER
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Chemical, Physic or Mechanical major
• Minimum 6 years of Technical Safety engineering and design experience in the oil & gas industry
• Excellent communications in both written and spoken in English and Bahasa Indonesia
8. PROJECT MANAGER
• Minimum Bachelor Degree of any engineering background
• Minimum 15 years of multi-disciplinarily design engineering experience in the oil & gas industry, encompassing conceptual designs and FEED through to detailed design and brown field engineering modifications
• Experience team leader with a proven track record of performance improvement
• Excellent communication in both written and spoken in Bahasa Indonesia and English
9. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (BDM)
• Minimum Bachelor degree or higher in an appropriate field of study from reputable University.
• Minimum 10 years of Oil & Gas Project Engineering
•Must have professional experience in multi-discipline engineering for the Oil & Gas and/or Petrochemical sector
• Must have experience in EPC contracts within the Oil & Gas and/or Petrochemical sectors (offshore and onshore)
• Must have high networking skills
• Must have good management skills
10. MECHANICAL PROJECT LEAD – ROTATING
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical major
• Minimum 12 years of mechanical engineering and design experience in the oil & gas industry
• Capable being a team leader with a proven track record of performance improvement
• Excellent communications in both written and spoken in English and Bahasa Indonesia
11. PDMS Administrator
• Minimum Diploma degree in Mechanical or Metallurgy engineering
• Minimum 7 years suitable experience in piping design and/or piping material control within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry.
• Experience in 3D plant layout, pipe routes, cable trays and ladders design and others designer jobs.
• Able to work in multi disciplines task.
• Excellent communication in both spoken and written in Indonesian and English.
