Progressive Global Energy has been tasked with sourcing an Experienced Senior Reservoir Engineer with proven petroleum background to join an existing team within the client office in Aberdeen,
The position has been created due to recent and will be situated within a pre existing team existing team.
The company is an international oil & gas consultancy offering technical, commercial and strategic advice to the petroleum sector. They specialize in petroleum and have delivered an unrivaled track record in exploration, development and production evaluation and operations.
The role will involve all aspects of Reservoir Engineering and as a pivotal member of the team you will be a technical leader within the office, involved in designing, planning & drilling of wells for clients in diverse geographical and environmental areas, with diverse well types.
You will have an excellent understanding of subsurface geology, applied mathematics and the laws of physics and chemistry governing the behavior of liquid and vapor phases of crude oil, natural gas and water.
Other potential areas of responsibility within this role could include numerical reservoir modelling, production forecasting, well testing, well drilling and work over planning and economic modelling.
The role requires the candidate to have the ability to work independently and manage a single discipline or Multi Disciplinary team
A solid knowledge of reservoir engineering related software is expected and demonstrated ability to compile and complete technical reports, plus presenting data, interpretations and reports to clients.
As an integral member of the team, you will be degree qualified or equivalent with significant operational experience.
