ENGINEERING JOBS

Company Description

Atkins is the largest engineering consultancy in the UK, the largest multidisciplinary consultancy in Europe and the world’s eighth largest design firm. Its size brings significant value to our clients, allowing it to harness an unrivalled pool of creative, professional people to produce outstanding solutions to challenging problems.

The simplest articulation of what Atkins does is "Plan, Design, Enable": Plan - the challenges facing its clients are multidimensional, often because of the increasingly complex modern environment. From cost and risk planning, feasibility studies and logistics, to impact assessments and stakeholder engagement activity, it plans every aspect of clients' projects. Design - Atkins designs intellectual capital such as management systems and business processes. It also designs physical structures such as office towers, schools, bridges and highways.

Whatever it designs, it applies the same passion and creativity combined with rigorous quality standards. Enable - its clients choose Atkins because they want to focus on their core operations. They entrust Atkins to look after the management of projects, people and issues - ensuring that deadlines are met, costs are controlled and success is delivered.
