Job Objective:
Provides drilling and workover engineering functions ensuring application of technical limits methodology and risk assessment in drilling and workover planning and execution.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
Designs and coordinates well concept planning and design. Assesses the drilling, financial and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) risks involved in company’s drilling, completion, and workover operations. Provides rigsite technical support during critical/unusual operations. Coordinates drilling operations with other disciplines, including contractors and regulatory agencies during the planning and supervision of drilling, workover, and completion operations. Develops and coordinates scopes of work, evaluates, and recommends contractors to provide best-fit services and materials for drilling operations.

Qualifications:
Five (5) years minimum oil and gas drilling, operations and engineering experience in oil and gas exploration and development. Prior experience designing and coordinating well concept plans, programs and designs. Prior experience assessing the drilling, financial, and Health, Safety and Environmental risks involved in drilling, completion and workover operations in addition to coordinating all drilling operations. Ability to accurately solve problems and exceptional proficiency in data management. Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.). Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public. Self-starter with proven leadership skills, team player, and comfortable working under pressure. Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex computer/information system’s information into an organized and presentable manner. Outstanding administrative and organizational skills.

Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
Required: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Educational Requirements:
Required: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a degree in engineering, or closely related field.
