Aker Solutions' Subsea Engineering and Completion Management Team is based in Norway, The team is responsible for global processes within System Engineering, Document Management, Materials and Finite Element Analysis, and Mechanical Completion. We are looking for experienced individuals to strengthen our team, supporting our ambitions for growth within the subsea market.
The Safety, Risk & RAM department is a fundamental centre of technical risk, technical safety and performance forecasting and a key element in the optimized delivery of Major Subsea Projects towards our clients. To meet the challenge of new concepts and applications in parallel with new legislation, statutory interpretations we need talented and experienced leads who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious plans within the Subsea market
Responsibilities and tasks
• Implementation of technical risk initiatives and studies across Major Subsea Projects
• Conceptual, R&D and TQP study involvement
• ISO 20815, API 17N framework for technical risk management of subsea technology
• Collaboration and management of suppliers, consultancies and clients
• Establish clear lines of understanding within the project of technical HSE
• 3-5 years engineering experience within the energy sector
• Degree in Engineering (Phd/MSc/BSc)
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and assertiveness
• Methodologies, qualitative & semi-quantitative risk proficiency
• Facilitation experience HAZID / HIRA / HAZOP / FMECA
• Subsea Systems familiarity – established & emerging technologies and applications
• Project management at consultancy level or proven track record of responsibility
• Thorough legislative knowledge & personal drive to advance the technical risk discipline
