Senior Drilling Engineer - Perth - Operator - Contract
Are you a Senior Drilling Engineer looking for a long term contact? Is your experience mainly on offshore projects, particularly in GAS DEVELOPMENT? Well this could be the opportunity for you!
One of our good clients in Perth is currently searching for a Senior Drilling Engineer on a 12 month contract. The right candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry (specifically in offshore projects) with at least two years of recent experience in Gas Development projects. Site or field based engineering experience is beneficial but not essential.
In order to be considered for this role, all candidates must have a background in all aspects of the drilling operations, right from the initial planning of a project through to the well construction and drilling campaign.
Requirements:
10 years of experience as a drilling engineer with a particular emphasis on offshore gas development
Previous experience devising drilling strategies and implementing quality procedures.
Experience in ERD, multilateral and HPHT wells
Deepwater project experience (desired not essential)
Bachelors degree or higher in engineering
Ability to demonstrate preparing and planning documents, contracts and tenders for drilling campaigns along with the planning and design of wells.
