ENGINEERING JOBS
Reservoir Engineer is urgently needed to fill a position
downtown in Houston, TX with one of the largest privately-held
independent oil and natural gas exploration and production companies in
the United States.
Progressive Global Energy & Natural Resources specializes in delivering first-rate professionals to the Oil & Gas industry. I work specifically with Reservoir Engineers and have been hired to execute an executive search to fill this role as soon as possible.
Job Objective:
Evaluates reservoir performance, reserves risks, and economics of company's exploitation and exploration projects to increase profitability by increasing oil and gas production and proven reserves and decreasing lifting and development costs. Provides engineering assistance with company's acquisitions of producing properties and new exploitation ventures.
Qualifications:
Eight (8) years minimum as a Reservoir Engineer (this requirement is non-negotiable). Ability to conduct detailed reservoir evaluations and studies. Ability to integrate geological and geophysical data into reservoir engineering calculations. Ability to integrate data from different sources into model reservoirs. Proficiency in the use and application of the following software: -Required: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook), Nodal analysis, and public data retrieval -Preferred: Microsoft Access, Aries economic software and/or other reservoir engineering software tools, well log evaluations, risk assessment, PETRA, Rate Transient Analysis (RTA), Power Tools, and CAD. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a degree in petroleum engineering. Preferred: Master's Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a degree in petroleum engineering.
