Our client, offshore/subsea construction contractor, have one another major project in WA and now require an experienced HSE Coordinator to assist their Project Manager with the role out of the brand new project.
Based in Perth, with occasional site visits, the role will suit someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment, who has the ability to put their experience and best practice HSE skills to good use.
Reporting to Project Manager, and working closely with the HSE Manager, You will be the project HSE lead or co-ordinator that will be in charge of rolling out safety across the project; duties will include:
Create and maintain a positive safety culture where everyone works effectively and safely, minimizing risk and injury;
Put together project Safety policies and procedures according to company standards
Assist with HSE plans across all operations;
Manage, action and minute Health and Safety Committee meetings in line with company procedures;
General assistance to HSE Manager as required.
To be successful for this role, you will possess:
Formal HSE Qualifications;
3 + years' experience in the oil & gas sector (preferably offshore/pipelines);
Ability to work in a fast paced environment;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
A strong team approach and a good sense of humor!
