Petroleum Engineer - Base Management
Responsibilities:
- Actively promote and encourage a safe working environment.
- Well performance monitoring, production optimization and overall well management for both gas and oil production, including gas lift.
- Input for short term production forecasting.
- Participate in the preparation, generation and planning of surveillance, rigless and wellwork activities.
- Input into surface facility optimization and the generation of new facilities projects.
- Well integrity monitoring through daily monitoring of well data.
- Well performance modeling. Conduct Prosper/GAP analysis when appropriate.
- Input into the deliquification opportunities and optimization, including plunger lift systems and capillary strings for chemical injection.
- Evaluation and implementation of new technologies for Base Management.
Requirements:
- S1 with minimum GPA 2.75 in Petroleum Engineering. S2 in related discipline is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Knowledge in reservoir management, well performance, production optimization and forecasting, open hole/ cased hole log interpretation, surface facility integration, and optimization.
- Good excel skill and database management including Economic and Risk analysis, preferably on the PSC contractual term.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of Reservoir characterization, Hydrocarbon in place estimation (reserves estimation) using different techniques, Dynamic modeling, Nodal analysis, Pressure transient analysis, Production performance analysis and forecast and field development plan.
- Proactive and have "can do" and "strive for excellence" attitude.
- Good interpersonal and communication skill and able to communicate well in English both written and spoken.
- Excellent presentation skill, with ability to express ideas in a clear manner.
- Able to identify problems and provide alternative solution.
- Well organized, self motivated and able to work both independently and in a team.
