Electrical Estimator: Western Australia: 12 Month Contract: Electrical Engineering Company: Oil and Gas Project
An Electrical Engineering company is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to work on the pre tender and tender for a major oil and gas project in Western Australian. The vacancy requires a 12 month contractor to come on board and work with the engineering team with the possibility of extension beyond. The role offers flexibility including the ability to work from home if needed.
You will have the opportunity to be involved in the development of all aspects of the estimating process. This includes:
* Prepare preliminary and budget estimates for opportunities and projects
* Develop the electrical estimating database to formulate unit costs
* Estimate project quantities and costs in the preparation of major tenders
* Carry out cost estimates and help resolve budget/pricing issues
* Perform cost analysis of estimates in accordance with estimate assurance requirements
* Develop accurate and timely cost estimates and cost models.
Candidates for consideration will have:
1 Minimum of 10 years estimating experience
2 4+ years of electrical estimating experience
3 Experience in large construction and/or infrastructure projects in the Oil & Gas industry
4 Proven track record of winning large bids
5 Bachelor of engineering (or higher)
