Responsible for design of manufacturing processes, layouts of manufacturing plants, tools, jigs, and assembly lines. Develops new ways to manufacture components, parts, or sub assemblies for lower cost or faster delivery of products. Under general supervision, performs all conventional aspects of the functional area subject matter. Devises new approaches to problems encountered. Requires sufficient professional experience to assure competence as a fully trained professional. Plans, schedules, and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. Performs work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements. Work requires a broad knowledge of precedents. Provide technical guidance to designers/drafters and less experienced engineers.Desired Skills & Experience
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years experience, preferably in Oil & Gas or Manufacturing
- Previous Team Lead experience is required
