I am recruiting for several Electrical Technicians for contract roles based in Stavanger for a Major Operator in the Norwegian Market.

Roles and Responsibilities:
-Under direction of the Lead Electrical Technician, implement all electrical maintenance activities utilities and process equipment, on the installation.
-Has a detailed knowledge of electrical maintenance practices applicable to offshore oil and gas installations.
-Is conversant with the isolation procedures of all electrical equipment.
-Responsible for Portable electrical equipment storage and issue and PAT Testing of personnel items being brought on-board by installation
-Responsible for ensuring availability and reliability of installation power distribution system.
-Responsible for completing verification assurance and maintenance routines and maintain quality records.
-Is competent in the (asset) electrical safety procedures and to be certified as Responsible Electrical Person.
-Able to read and work from engineering/vendor drawings.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
-Educated to ONC level or equivalent, successfully completed a recognized apprenticeship.
-Previous industrial experience in the oil and gas industry working as an Electrical Technician
-Good communication skills
-Self motivated and enthusiastic when working as part of a team or on own initiative
-Use skills and experience to contribute to problem solving and improving the day to day running of the department.
-Permit to Work system competency
