Progressive Global Energy are working in partnership with a
world leading risk management service provider in sourcing senior
surveyors for some exciting new projects in the UK and abroad.
Headquartered in Europe, the company has developed a reputation built throughout a century of work in 3 main areas;
Maritime and Oil and Gas, Energy and Business assurance
The current vacancy will see you become part of a team of multi discplined engineers with the role of witnessing/reviewing/surveying of on site manufacturing and testing of offshore oil and gas equipment and hazardous area equipment
For this position, candidates should have a good knowledge/experience in some or all of the following
Classification Surveys
Verification Surveys
Design Review and Approval
Product certification
With regards to qualifications, candidates should have the following;
Appropriate VQS Qualification (preferable but not essential)
Minimum HNC/Scotvec level 3
Minimum 2 years relevant post graduate experience, or 5 years for senior personnel
Knowledge of the Pressure Equipment Directive would be an advantage.
Knowledge and experience of design or operation of offshore equipment or similar is preferred.
