Planner/Project Scheduler: Perth based role for an Operator: Long term contract: Offshore projects

An active Operator in the offshore Australian market is currently searching for a planner with a background in project scheduling. This person will be joining the engineering project team for a new phase

of their project. Stepping in at an early stage, the right candidate will be reporting to the engineering manager and may be required to travel from time to time.

Responsibilities
- Project control and planning.
- Record, control and forecast all financial matters relating to assigned projects.
- Monthly updates including entering actuals, reforecasting remaining work, reviewing document registers.
- Establish, maintain and review schedules, set up reporting periods and submit progress reports.
- Integration of planning, timesheet and cost control data

Requirements for this role include considerable experience in a related role and/or relevant tertiary experience, minimum 10 years of experience in oil and gas project work, P6 primavera, Microsoft
project, skilled in the use of project management information systems and experience in planning brown fields and green field projects.

Candidates must be willing to see the life of the project out which may extend beyond the initial 2 year contract. Day rates are competitive and based on previous experience and work history.
