My client, a major international EPC + Construction company, is looking for a QHSE Training Coordinator to work in their Belgium office. Site visits will also be a large part of this position.
 
Candidates will need to be eligible to work within the EU.

Role and Responsibilities:
The QHSE training coordinator will integrate in the Corporate QHSE Department and will report to the Corporate QHSE Manager.
 
The QHSE training coordinator will work in close collaboration with the Talent & Development Coordinator.
 
The role will include all tasks associated with Company QHSE training strategic development and activities. This includes but not limited to:
Integrating QHSE training programmes within the Company training strategies and requirements.
Develop and tailor QHSE training modules compliant with internal, and external (client and regulatory) requirements.
Deliver QHSE training programmes to targeted audiences (Management level, QHSE trainers, workers, hired personnel, subcontractors).
Organising, coordination and follow-up of QHSE trainings and (internal and external) QHSE trainers in collaboration with the Talent & Development coordinator
 
Additionally the QHSE training coordinator will be, in due time, responsible for the development and follow-up of an internal and external QHSE communication/advertisement/awareness programme. This will be carried out in coordination with the Company Communication Department.
 
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics:
Fluent in French, Dutch & English, other languages a plus
In possession of a formal diploma (degree as a minimum) in occupational health and safety environmental field
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in QHSE roles ideally within an international context including Europe within the construction industry
Having references of experiences in the QHSE training field. Experience with ELearning application development would be an advantage
Being conversant with international standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, VCA
Excellent communication skills both oral and writing and excellent team player
