Progressive are seeking a Chief Geoscientist (Explorationist) to join an international organization that provides multi client Geoscience data and services to oil and gas companies around the globe. The successful candidate will be a key member of the companies Asia- Pacific management team whom will be empowered to make a direct impact on the company's key decision making in maturing their business in APAC. The position requires someone with extensive industry experience assessing hydrocarbon prospective in numerous petroleum basins in relevant regions and encompass a well balanced grasp of both geophysical and geological principals. Experience:
+ Minimum of 10 yrs industry experience
* Bachelors degree in Geoscience
* Basin knowledge in Australian and SEAsia.
* Up to date software application knowledge -SMTKingdom, GIS systems (Mapinfo and ARCGIS) and MS Office desired
* Strong communication and presentation skills

Job Duties:
1 Geological and Geophysical Products Design
2 Generate technical reports and present technical proposals, government presentations, pre-marketing material during the concept stage of the project management process
3 Acquisition and Processing Technical Presentations for kick-off meetings at the production stage
4 Advice on operational acquisition parameters
5 Review preliminary and final seismic processing products and provide feedback to management, processing teams, sales and marketing
6 Prepare and Present Prospectivity Reports for Project marketing
7 Liaise with Interpretation group in UK on interpretation studies, progress and results
8 Prepare Technical Presentations at Industry forums and conference to help promote products and services.
