ENGINEERING JOBS
My Client is a large player in the oil & gas sector in Norway and their offshore handling division have a requirement for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on an initial 6 month contract with a view to longer term.
Tasks and responsibilities
Prepare mechanical drawings as per customer requirements
Calculation and design of steel structures
Layout documentation for production purposes

The person
Ideally a BSc or MSc in an Engineering discipline
Strong mechanical design experience
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Inventor
Experience in the development and manufacturing of cranes is highly desirable
