My client is a market leader in the shipping industry in Norway. They have a need for a Project Engineer on a contract basis initially with a possibility of a longer term contract or potentially a permanent position.
The main duties include;
Preparation of hydrostatics and stability documentation
Perform motion analysis, resistance and propulsion calculations
Participate in the overall design and engineering work

The ideal candidate will be educated in a maritime discipline and have experience in design and calculation work related to ship design. Strong hydrodynamics experience is very important as the successful candidate will need to come in and hit the ground running.
