Job Description

Primary objective
To provide assistance to integrity & inspection& repair advise to the project.

To be responsible for assistance to the performance of the assigned area to both in terms of technical capability and also commercial performance of the project.

Specific accountabilities are listed below.Specific Accountabilities
  • Interface management with the client inspection department
  • Document & compile integrity reports per piping tag and equipment tag
  • Assist in review of 3rd party contractor inspection data and inspection method
  • Compile and centralize corrosion monitoring data and feed into RBI database
  • Feed Process data and Inspection data in the RBI database
  • Compiles RBI reports if and when required
  • Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to WorleyParsons Services.
  • Safety – Responsible for personal safety / safe working practices for WorleyParsons Services. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
  • Main Purpose of Role

    To execute project work, either individually or as part of a team, covering a particular site and covering of expertise & responsibility within own discipline.Key Result Areas
  • Meet the requirements in terms of monitoring, reporting progress and successfully completing a task to the agreed budget and programme and to the right quality.
  • Maximise profitability of own work by ensuring that it is carried out efficiently and effectively and that it is right first time.
  • Identifies, assesses and mitigates risks associated with own work and reports to Integrity-RBI- Engineer or Team Leader, as necessary.
  • Ensures that own work is carried out in accordance with the company & Client standards.
  • Plans own tasks/sub tasks on a day to day basis.
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with Client inspection representative, as appropriate, to ensure that their needs are met.

  • Job Requirements
    Essential Skills / Experience
  • 1-2 Years Experience in Oil & Gas or related industries.
  • Preferably experience in Inspection, maintenance of static equipment & piping (Oil & Gas or related industries).
  • Preferably experience in Risk Based Inspection (RBI) implementation. (optional)
  • Effectively communicates progress and discusses technical requirements or queries with integrity-RBI Engineer.
  • Communicate effectively (written or verbal).
  • Produces high quality technical reports which can put into context and describe complex technical work in a clear and concise manner Working with others
  • Must be able to work effectively both as an individual and as a member of a team.
  • Desirable
  • Mechanical/piping engineering diploma with Inspection exposure.
