ENGINEERING JOBS
Reporting to Production Manager to plan, manage and organize field operations and production planning activities. Lead operations and production planning engineers.
Responsibilities
* Manage a workforce to focus on core activities by ensuring that they react quickly to unscheduled shutdown and rectify the problem as well as ensuring the requirement of the target letter are met, in relation to production of oil and gas requirement in order to achieve the production targets of hydrocarbon in the most cost effective manner
* Maximize the utilization of facilities and resources by identifying and triggering short term and long term action plan to resolve problems with the available resources in most cost effective manner and safely and ensuring availability of material and logistic to facilitate smooth and efficient operations in order to minimize unit production unit (UPC).
* Spend the allocated WP&B cost effectively and always in a safe manner.
* Ensure that Management of Change (MOC) is properly controlled and aligned with standard and policy
* Analyze and identify issues and special study/cause analysis for short / medium and long term solutions and improvement to operations and planning
* Ensure that the workforces are being trained and developed accordingly to minimize the gap.
* Drive the development of competent working team that will enhance and sustain staff capabilities in achieving high performance delivery by determining talent requirements, instilling values of integrity, providing leadership, coaching and guidance and implementing internal successions to ensure internalisation of the right leadership and capabilities in executing their jobs.
* Ensure all reports are correctly prepared on time for management review. Ensure relevant field data reported in timely manner by facilitating fast data gathering and timely transmittal method to responsible parties for Asset performance analysis.
* Maintain facilities, wells and platform integrity by controlling wireline activities for this area and ensuring that the feedback on abnormality of the facilities is being highlighted to superior in order to make sure that the facilities maintenance works orders are executed expeditiously and at minimum cost.
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
* 8-10 years working experience in managing technical functions in upstream oil and gas industry.
* Supervisory skills, team-leading ability, knowledge in project management
