Progressive Global Energy are sourcing an HSE drilling professional on behalf of a well established deepwater drilling contractor with one of the most sophisticated fleets inn the offshore drilling industry.

The company require an HSE Advisor to provide technical support to the B/U SHE functions through the development of SHE standards and systems. Also, facilitate the integration of SHE & Management system principles by supporting accountable managers.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years time served in a similar SHE or management systems advisory role.
Education, Training, Licenses and/or Certifications
* NEBOSH qualification.
* Membership of IOSH (preferable)

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
* Knowledge of strategic planning principles, technical application of business planning tools and new applications of proven technology.
* The effective communication of SHE standards.
* The effective compliance with minimum SHE standards.
* Coaching and facilitation of the SHE-MS.
* Ensure the Safety, Health, & Environment for the protection and safety of its employees.
* Ensure that outcomes meet defined expectations consistently and repeatedly.
* To provide technical support to the B/U function & to facilitate the integration of SHE & Management system principles by supporting accountable managers.

Minimum Requirements for this position
* Working knowledge in the development and implementation of occupational health / wellness programs within the E & P industry.
* In-depth knowledge of Quality, Management and Environmental systems and the auditing of same.
* Detailed knowledge of incident analysis and root cause techniques.
* Ability to gather and analyze/synthesize data, confirming its accuracy and adequacy as an integral part of the collective analysis/synthesis process.
* Demonstrated effective leadership and influencing skills and practices.
* Knowledge of financial accounting, purchasing and management systems.
* Physically capable of being transported to an offshore rig by boat or helicopter.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level (use financial and logical functions; work with multiple worksheets and workbooks; edit and use macros; import and export information).
* Working knowledge of document control systems and databases.
