My client is a leading international engineering consultancy with offices across the globe and a proven track record with major oil and gas projects. Their office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has tasked Progressive with searching for a Lead Subsea Structural engineer to cope with project demands for 2013. The lead engineer's scope will be to execute high-quality engineering from conceptual through to detail design on major oil and gas projects. This will tie in with his/her ability to provide technical direction over project design teams whilst ensuring technical accuracy within commercial and time constraints.

Other requirements of the job include:
-Minimum Bachelor's Degree (Hons) in Civil/Structural engineering field
-Minimum of 10 years experience in structural engineering, with at least 5 years in subsea structures specifically
-Ability to liaise with clients regarding the technical aspects of a particular project
-Prior work experience on deepwater projects would be an advantage
-Capacity to provide bid and tender support by assisting in the preparation of proposals
-Proven track record of delivering projects while working with other technical disciplines and under demanding work conditions
