Day Drilling Supervisor: Operator: WA Projects: Offshore: Long Term Contract

The Offshore WA market is gearing up some more activity in 2013. This activity is driving the need for day drilling supervisors with significant experience on rigs, in particular floaters. Ideally, the drilling supervisor will have a background 'growing up' on rigs. Local project experience is also a beneficial skill but not essential.

ENGINEERING JOBS

Role:
* Even time roster: 2/2, 3/3 or 4/4 depending on the back to back
* One or two hitches in another location to get up to speed with the operators drilling systems
* Competitive day rates

Requirements:
* 10+ years in the oil and gas industry with a minimum 5 years in a drilling supervisors position (offshore)
* Offshore drilling experience on various types of floaters (Semi's or Drillships)
* Valid offshore tickets including HUET, IWCF well control (subsea - supervisors level) and MSIC
* CSTP (highly beneficial but not essential)
* Good communication skills and an ability to collaborate with higher management located in the office in Perth (including the drilling superintendent and lead drilling engineer) as well as third parties on the rig
* Australia citizenship, PR or current valid 457 visa
