My client is an internationally established oil and gas company with a proven track record in the industry. The company is has presence in all the major oil and gas regions around the world, and is a publicly-listed company. Due to some internal movements within the company, a position has been freed up in the operations department for a senior engineer versed in turret and mooring systems. Some requirements of the role include:
-Degree in Mechanical or equivalent discipline from an established university
-Minimum 12 years working experience in FPSO/Marine industry, with 5 of those in Turret/Mooring engineering
-Knowledge of maritime rules and regulations and past offshore operations experience
-Knowledge of turret/spread moorings and associated mechanical and piping systems in FPSOs
-Capacity to interface effectively with other disciplines such as process, marine engineering and naval architecture
-Good command of spoken and written English
