Job Description
- Assist the manager in developing yearly inspection budget
- Supervise the inspectors, development engineers and trainees
- Manage and coordinate the activities of inspection contractors on site
- Prepare, administrate and manage the performance of inspection contracts
- Recommend for long and short term improvement actions for asset integrity related issues
- Provide support to maintenance department for material and welding related issues
- Provide support to corrosion engineer for inspection interval determination
- Participate in root cause analysis of pressure equipment related failures
- Properly investigate the failures to understand the cause, develop solutions and revise the inspection strategies
Desired Skills & Experience
- Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Material Science from a recognized educational institution
- Certified as piping (API570) and pressure vessel (API510) inspector. Tank inspector certification (API653) is an added advantage
- Certified as Welding Inspector 3.2
- Minimum 10 years of plant experience, welding inspection or QA/QC environment
- Familiar in Inspection Data Management System (IDMS) and SAP
- Familiar with Risk Based Inspection (RBI)
