As Lead Technical Risk Engineer your main responsibilities will include
Maintain an awareness of Risk Management International Standards and Best Practices.
Continually review and improve the working practices in the Technical Risk department.
Actively train and develop the Technical Risk team members to enable the delivery of Technical Risk within Offshore Resources.
Liaise with the Managers to ensure Technical Risk processes are being followed and assistance is provided on a proactive basis as required.
Develop the group Equipment Assurance programme in association with Equipment Assurance and Technical Risk Manager.
Provide Technical Risk input and support to projects and operations as required in alignment with Company and Client expectations for tender and project teams.
Use operational knowledge and experience to pragmatically discuss legacy equipment and systems 

Technical Risk requirements.
Manage individual workloads to enable the delivery of Technical Risk within Offshore Resources.
Facilitate or contribute into Technical Risk meetings, analysis and reviews as required.

Qualifications and Education
Essential:Degree qualified

Desirable:
Institute of Risk Management Certificate (or equivalent). 
CEng / IEng with appropriate institution, or working towards.

Experience:
Essential:
Relevant previous experience at an appropriate level in similar environment, discipline engineering experience.
Extensive Oil & Gas subsea sector experience.
Heavy equipment experience.

Desirable:
Knowledgeable in the operation of subsea installation vessels, equipment and systems.
