A Major Oil and Gas Operator requires a Well Engineering and Intervention Manager to join them as part of the team in Qatar on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will:
• Supervise, manage and participate in the process used to optimize/ maximize and add value to the assets of the shareholders of the client in the context of well interventions and well integrity.
• Be responsible for definition of well operations procedures and execution of well interventions for down hole data acquisitions.
• Develop well integrity and maintenance philosophy and prepare appropriate procedures to implement the same, including well control aspect.
• Develop and maintain capabilities to support well engineering of new wells, work over or re-completion.
• Supervise and lead activities of Well Engineering & Intervention team towards the achievement of their collective and individual objectives while supporting their motivation, development and continuing currency of their expertise.
The successful candidate will:

The successful candidate will have:
• A Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineering/ Natural Gas Engineering or related Engineering disciplines.
• As well as a minimum 15 years’ operations experience in the oil and/ or gas industry; 10 of which is in down hole well intervention operations, including 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Computer literacy, using computer and database systems.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
