You will be trade qualified or from an operational background that has worked as an on site civilforeman or supervisor for at least 5 years for a reputable contractor doing sub divisions or alike. You will also have a committed attitude towards on site health and safety and have the ability to lead, motivate and get the best performance of staff and subcontractors.
Reporting directly to the constructionmanager, these roles will see the successful candidates managing various aspects of the project including paving, earth works and concrete and steel structures. These safety focused managers will be responsible for the daily site operations including personnel and sub contractor management and ensuring works are being completed correctly while meeting strict time lines.
As a Site Supervisor, with a proactive leadership style, you will be responsible for supervising civil site activities, while supervising and leading several crews.
You will have minimally 5 years experience working in the civil construction industry, with a strong focus on workplace health and safety. Given the diversity of the projects undertaken, you will be:
* deadline driven
* have excellent time management skills
* and thrive on working in a fast paced environment
You will have a demonstrated ability to professionally and effectively manage several crews, with each crew consisting of up to 5 people.
Civil Work Planner construction projects

Job Description
-Develop and monitor scheduling.
-Experienced in Civil disciplined projects.
-To produce work packages for the construction team
-To initiate actions to be implemented in the construction schedule
-To maintain contacts with suppliers and subcontractors.
-Responsible for purchasing and carrying out purchasing negotiations.
-Keeping track of extra- and less work.
-The overall management and monitoring of work.
-Close liaison with the implementation and attending construction meetings.
-As an experienced manufacturing engineer you will be responsible for guiding the less experienced administrators.
Construction Scheduler Civil

-The construction scheduler civil is responsible for preparing and monitoring plans for concrete - and larger construction projects, both in performance and in procurement. You bear responsibility for drafting and presenting van (progress) reporting. Function in your daily contact with executors, administrators, site managers and project leaders. You will also be the link in the project and you have regular contact with the client. In this challenging and verbal function you are the spider in the web and the focal point serving the projects.
-The candidate should have site construction experience, civildisciplined ,conversant with planning software such as Primavera P6, must have sound knowledge of planning processes and scheduling, excellent written and spoken English, good communication skills, be self motivated and able to work with minimum of supervision. Capable of creating a class 4, 3,2 or 1 schedule, logically linked from the initiating stage through design , procurement, construction to commissioning.
Critical skill sets include
Scope planning
WBS structure creation to level 6
Defining Activities
Sequencing Activities
Estimating Resources
Estimating Durations
Ensuring Costs are linked.
The candidate should have an S1 degree and at least 5 years relevant experience
The schedule:
* No rotation job, contract with normal holidays 20 days a year
* 44 hrs a week,
* Monday to Friday : 0800h - 1730h - Lunch break 0130h
* Saturday: If Over time to be worked ( - 2hrs as week only 42hrs worked)
* all overtime paid
-Accommodation arranged by client?
* The 4 people will be logged in equipped apartment near facility
* Transport is foreseen
-Meals arranged by client?
* Lunch is at Canteen of Refinery and provided by us
* per diem locally paid for living costs
-Flights
* Two flights per annum paid
-Visa, Work permit
* We will take action on this
-Health insurance
* We will take action on this
-(hourly / Daily) Rates
* Has to be competitive with Local Moroccans Technicians
* should be in line with rates paid in the Abu Dhabi
