(VACANCY) Petrophysicist - Kazakhstan

My client is an international oil and gas exploration and production company currently focused on Central Asia with projects in Kazakhstan and other regions . It is the only independent oil and gas company operating in few areas simultaneously in the region (central Asia). Its recent exploration oil discovery lies at deeper levels in the same area and the Company believes that this discovery has substantial potential successes.

Due to recent successes in the their projects in Kazakhstan, the company is looking for experienced Senior Petrophysicist to work in one of their Offices in Central Asia. The candidate needs to have at least 20 years of experience in petrophysics. Ability to work on old “Soviet type” logs as well as newest logs is a must to be considered for this position. The role will involve close work with Reservoir Engineering department. Fluent English is a necessary requirement, however knowledge of Russian would be beneficial.
