Job Roles:
1) Coordinate with different parties and take lead in implementing major capital project from FEED to Construction & Commissioning in a Petrochemical Plant.
2) Review engineering, technical & project management documents/drawings for FEED and detailed engineering.
3) Prepare Project Execution Plan for CPDEP.
4) Interpret PFD, P&ID, instrument list, I/O list, specifications, hook-up drawings, loop drawings, junction wiring drawings, cable schedules, logic diagrams, cause & effect diagrams, vendors’ datasheets, etc.
5) Make enquiry and perform technical evaluation with contractors/vendors in selection of new instrument or equipment for project prior to procurement.
6) Ensure instrument pre-installation checks & calibration are performed as per requirements.
7) Oversee and ensure the instrument installation works done by contractors are as per specifications.
8) Co-ordinate with other discipline and lead contractors in pre-commissioning activities such as instrument air line leak tests, impulse tubing pressure test, loop checks, equipment testing, etc
9) Liaise with vendor in the commissioning of vendor’s instruments or equipment prior to start-up.
10) Support Operation in commissioning and Start-up.

Job Requirements:
1) Degree/diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fields.
2) 3 to 5 years experience in major capital projects.
3) Experience in electrical/Instrumentation installation and commissioning works preferred
4) Good supervisory, communication and interpersonal skills, able to work well with contractor/vendor and lead contractor to complete the project on time.
5) Familiar with Singapore Electrical Code of Practice CP5, CP16, CP33, etc.
6) Knowledge in calibration and testing on different instruments- on/off valve, pressure transmitter, temperature transmitter, flowmeter, control valve, analyzer, pressure regulating valve, etc.
7) Possess good troubleshooting skills.
8) Able to commit to the job for a period of 3 years, with a possibility of extension upon project completion.
9) Good working attitude, prepare to work long hours to meet project schedule and willing to work in Jurong Island.
10) Only Singaporeans or SPR need apply.
