Responsibilities for this key position are:
An opportunity is now available for Lead Mechanical Engineer for subsea trees in an established company.
Responsibilities for this key position are:
*Undertaking design verification and approval of design activities according to requirements
*Communicate programs and processes
*Provide technical leadership to personnel
*Liaising with clients and engineering team to produce design specifications
*Reviewing to assess risks
*Identify improvements for products, procedures and processes and develop a cost effective solution.
*Liaise with supply management for materials requirements of product
*Risk and failure analysis, calculations vetting, FAT procedures and Prototype test procedures
*Provide manufacturing support as required and liaising with manufacturing to ensure designs are suitable.
*Provide field support.
The successful applicant will ideally be a degree qualified Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in working with subsea trees and delivering integrated solutions. Pro E skills are a must, and knowledge of materials, including welding and heat treatment of metals and elastomers, as well as familiarity with HSE requirements will be ideal.
