Project Manager – Petrochemical/ Refinery Projects

Our Client is recognized as a World Class Global Engineering Corporation with offices on every Continent. Their Engineering and PMC expertise covers a broad range of sectors within the Process Industries. With the substantial growth in its operations and the planned growth to be achieved, they seek a dynamic, technically competent and commercially astute Project Manager to work within their team to capture the expected growth in the Downstream Oil & Gas/Chemicals Sector within S.E Asia.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be part of a highly competent and multi-disciplinary professional team. Your Key Responsibilities will be to execute Engineering and PMC projects within the Downstream Oil and Gas Sector within S.E Asia, whilst also developing substantial client relationships to capture future projects. The objective is to contribute to the achievement of both Revenue and EBIT targets in line with the overall Corporate Goals.
Requirements:
It is expected that you will be a tertiary qualified Engineer with at least 15 years post graduate experience in the Downstream Oil & Gas/Chemicals Engineering and Construction Sector. Coming from a strong engineering background and with a detailed knowledge of Downstream Processes & Infrastructure needs and Project Delivery Methodologies & Issues, you will also feel comfortable in a Team and Business Development leadership role.
From a technical perspective, your experience will mainly be in the Petro-Chemical sector whilst experience in Pharmaceuticals, Ammonia, Phosphate Fertilizers, Titanium Dioxide or Specialty/Fine Chemicals etc would be well regarded but not mandatory.
Ideally a good part of your experience will have seen you intimately involved in Project Engineering or Project Management of Petrochemical Projects in excess of $50M. We also seek a solid base of contacts and networks within the owner/operators of Petrochemical plants within S.E Asia.
