Position : Risk Assessor

Job Scope:
This position oversees risk assessment and mitigation for a complex, first-in-kind multibillion dollar mega-project that will be conducted by several different companies across different work locations, and in an environment of evolving business processes and technical standards. Given that it is a first-in-kind project, a creative and rigorous approach in identifying and minimizing risks is required.

Job Scope:
This position oversees risk assessment and mitigation for a complex, first-in-kind multibillion dollar mega-project that will be conducted by several different companies across different work locations, and in an environment of evolving business processes and technical standards. Given that it is a first-in-kind project, a creative and rigorous approach in identifying and minimizing risks is required.
General Requirements :
·Authority and respect amongst the technical community is paramount
·Knowledge of oil and gas exploration and production activities, including gas liquefaction if possible
·Experience in Risk Management of complex oil and gas projects
·Familiar with risk assessment using commercial software (i.e., Primavera Pertmaster, Crystal Ball)
·Proven ability to work across cultures and hierarchies
·University degree or equivalent in Engineering
·Preferably have Process / Mechanical Engineering backgrounds
·10+ years in experience technical roles related to development of complex Oil and Gas projects, preferably in Risk Assessment / Project Management
Mission:
· Under supervision and directives of Sr. Risk Assessor, act as the risk assessment focal point for the Asset.
· Identify and evaluate risks to the project plan by performing impact assessments, maintain a register of project risks and develop & monitor risk mitigation plans
Key Job Responsibilities:
1.Risk Assessment
·Develop project’s Risk Management strategy that is tailored to meet the requirements of the project; lead implementation
·Organize risk working sessions with the project’s personnel and main Contractors to identify risks, formulate mitigation action plans and track close-out of action items
·Lead regular and ad-hoc project risk assessments, especially around major design decisions/changes and project milestones
·Own project risk mitigation plans
·Own Risk Scenarios
o Gather inputs from management to identify high priority risk scenarios
o Organize formal review to present scenarios and consequences to management
o Coordinate working sessions to update scenarios when required
o Analyze deterministic and stochastic/probabilistic models to assess schedule and cost variability/sensitivity to risk events; own risk models
2.Coordination, Documentation and Reporting
· Liaise with Planning, Cost, and Budget and Performance Reporting team to ensure that project schedules and costs provide adequate contingency to manage risks
· Ensure that all stakeholders understand the risks, and support risk mitigation plans
· Own the project Risk Register which contains all identified risks and associated mitigation plans; coordinate close-out of action items with Groups; provide advice and coaching as necessary
· Provide regular and ad-hoc Risk Assessment report to Systems Integrator; report will include, but not limited to:
o Additional risks from design change and associated mitigation plans
o Analysis from risk models
o Specific areas of concerns, which show schedule/cost deviations or non-conformance
3.Development and Leadership
·Ensure behaviors, performance, and resourcing of own team support the Indonesia company’s goals, company policy and standards
·Participate in business planning, budgeting, Systems Integration, peer reviews, and other initiatives as required
·Encourage commitment to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing among subordinates
·Any other activities as requested to support it’s success
