An independent exploration and production company is currently searching for an experienced Senior Production Engineer to join their new team based in Bakersfield, California.
The position itself will be based here, and give you the opportunity to work as part of a development team including reservoir engineers and geologists working on their onshore projects in Bakersfield as well as offshore operations.
You must be able to apply a broad range of production engineering knowledge to complete complex assignments such as maintaining producing properties at a maximum economic rate within governmental and contractual requirements.

The main criteria:
- 10+ years experience
- Completions/Reservoir Background
- Interfacing with development teams
- Previous Shale/Horizontal/Fracturing experience
- Knowledge of waterflood and acidizing
- Need to have OIL experience!
