Job purpose:
· To support the Project Manager and report to Control Manager
· To provide expertise and experience in related matters during project control
Key Areas of Responsibility:
§ Monitor the work in progress with respect to the approved schedules/milestones and prepare weekly/monthly progress report
§ Prepares and manages overall master project schedule integrating the project Work Breakdown Structure using an appropriate scheduling software package
§ Coordinates schedule from multiple contractors and incorporate the information gathered into the overall project master schedule
§ Monitors and forecasts progress of activities in contractors work schedules. Highlight problem areas and recommend remedial actions
§ Evaluates critical paths in the project schedules and evaluates alternative schedule options to identify optimum project strategies or resolve problems before and during execution
§ Performs probabilistic analysis of completion dates and potential alternatives. Presents risk based analysis of most likely completion and expected deviation range
§ Develops and implements plan versus actual progress curves. Reports and analysis weekly/monthly deviation from plan. Evaluates allocation of resources and provide recommendations to maintain required progress
§ Liaises with all team leaders to communicate required completion dates and interfaces between responsible parties
§ Prepares and issues updated project schedules
§ Coordinate with discipline Coordinators and Engineers/Supervisors on all matters related project and bringing any problem to the attention of Project Manager

Qualification & Experience Requirements:
ü Must hold Bachelor/Master in Construction, Engineering or Project Management
ü At least 7 years of working experience as Planning Engineer in Oil and Gas industry
ü Age between 30-55 years and health
ü Good communicator ad all levels with fluent written and spoken English
ü Able to work as part of multi-national, multi-cultural, multidisciplinary team and to establish excellent working relationships with all parties
ü High degree of problem solving ability
ü Able to work unsupervised within designated framework
ü Able to handle complex issues involving multiple disciplines and priorities
ü Autonomous decision making authority within designated framework
ü Responsibility level to reflect authority
ü Fluently with AutoCad, Microsoft Project/Primavera, designing software
ü Team-working minded and service orientated
ü Posses own computer
