Position : Lead Engineer (Offshore).
Location : Chennai, India.
Educational Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech. Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, Preferred M.E./M.Tech./ MS in structural/Ocean engineering/Offshore Structures
- Capable to perform and supervise conceptual and FEED engineering of fixed offshore platforms including well, process and LQ.
- Capable to perform and supervise Jacket in-place, spectral fatigue, Seismic and pre-service analysis.
- Capable to check the deliverables (documents and drawings) and ensure its quality and adherence to Specifications and fabrication standards.
- Proficiency in SACS/MicroSAS/SEASAM
- Proficiency with Major offshore structural codes and standards like API, NORSOK and AISC
- Knowledge in various fabrication standards.
- Plan project structural execution including scope, deliverables, schedule and all manpower resources
- Lead the assigned engineers and drafting personnel to complete the scope as per planned schedule, within budget, in accordance with fabrication standards, to a high professional standard
- Ensure interfaces and deliverables are clearly identified.
- Co-ordinate material control requirements and maintains agreed material order release dates, ensures standards are followed.
- Monitor scope change. Raises change orders to the project.
- Interface with Client and other agencies on their review and approval.
- Prepare estimates for bid proposals, including technical query reviews, execution statements and man hour estimates.
- Identifies and provides training to staff in specific techniques and proprietary software.
