World-leading oil & gas service company requires an experienced project planner to take on a lead role in their planning and scheduling team based in their Perth-CBD offices. Reporting to the Principle Planner and the Project Service Manager, this role will challenge you as you map out the path for Australia’s next big oil and gas projects.
In this lead planning role your key responsibilities will include:

Reporting to the Principle Planner and the Project Service Manager, this role will challenge you as you map out the path for Australia’s next big oil and gas projects.
In this lead planning role your key responsibilities will include:
-The development of project schedules and execution plans for all activities on a project, tender or plant the supply chain.
- Being able to work independently, applying planning and scheduling techniques and analysis within the project or plant environment.
- Being responsible for the development, maintenance and analysis of the critical path plans and related schedules from small, moderate and very large size projects and complexity.
- Monitoring the schedule progress and earned value progress against baseline plans and instigate proactive corrective action to ensure on time delivery to customer promise dates. To be considered for this role you must possess:
- Previous planning experience is required within a manufacturing/engineering/project management environment. (7 to 10 years experience required)
- Experience with Primavera P6 is ESSENTIAL, having MS Project, PertMaster and SAP are beneficial.
- A tertiary engineering qualification or certification/diploma. Should you not possess formal qualifications your experience will be assessed in lieu.
- Previous experience with an EPCM or service company in the manufacturing/engineering/oil and gas setting.
It would be desirable if you possessed:
- Previous experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Process technology experience in the manufacturing of subsea systems or in the manufacturing sector.
The salary is negotiable and is commensurate with experience.
