Open Recruitment: SURF Coating Inspector

ENGINEERING JOBS
We are looking to appoint several qualified QA inspectors with experience of Subsea Production Equipment such as Umbilicals, Flowlines and Risers. (SURF), the day to day details of the post are as follows
• Promote safety within area of specialty
• Provide unique or high level of quality expertise in disciplines such as NDE, materials and welding as they relate to Subsea equipment fabrication and installation (Umbilical, Riser, Flowline, PLET, PLEM)
• Develop and implement detailed oversight program for high criticality areas such as Corrosion Resistant Alloy welding, AUT NDE crosscheck and SURF equipment FAT Activities.
• Monitor production processes and perform surveillance activities
• Perform quality inspection activities and/or oversee activities of Contractor and Supplier inspectors within discipline in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
• Review and evaluate Contractor’s and Suppliers’ quality documents for accuracy and adequacy
• Participate in Mechanical Completion activities such as pre-walk down checks, accuracy of Quality Control documents, formal walk downs and support closure of punch list items
• Support Quality training activities
• Keep Quality supervision updated with status of quality issues
To perform this position you must meet the following criteria

• Construction experience related to project scope
• Recent experience in inspection discipline
• Recent experience in fabrication / testing / installation of SURF Equipment
? Risers, Flow lines and Jumpers
? FLETs / PLETs / PLEMs
? Buoyancy Tanks and Suction Piles
? Umbilicals
? Cathodic Protection
• Technical qualification or certification in welding and NDE inspection methods
• Technical expertise in and fluency in the technical language of high criticality welding, design and fabrication (fatigue, strain-based design/fabrication, corrosion, low-allow steels, CRAs , etc.)
