Reliability Engineer
- To setup and implement condition monitoring program and laboratory on
vibration monitoring, Lube oil analysis lab and IR thermography lab;
- To establish the system/workflow on managing on vibration monitoring, lub oil analysis and IR thermography e.g. Plan, Do, Check and Act cycle.
- To collect and buildup the base line data on equipment for vibration
monitoring, Lub oil analysis lab and IR thermography lab for comparison.
- To analyses vibration, lube oil and IR thermograph data collected to predict
equipment expectancy and provide recommendation for equipment maintenance;
- To provide technical support, training material and staff training to
enhance the establishment of core competency in vibration monitoring and
analysis, lube oil analysis and IR thermography analysis;
- Performs and facilitates equipment failure analysis/trouble shooting with
cross-functional teams from maintenance and operations;
- Compiles and establishes performance indicators and targets as well as bad actor list for equipment reliability and submits performance reports regularly for review.
