An exciting and challenging opportunity exists for the right candidate; the primary role will focus on Structural Analysis within a multi-specialist team.
The client is a highly regarded up and coming engineering company specializing in the offshore oil and gas market; the team will be a mixture of structural, hydraulic and mechanical engineers working towards effectively delivering into a number of varied projects. A full understanding of finite element programmes is essential and the ideal candidate will have the ability to carry out structural calculations without the use of the programmes equally efficiently.
The role would suit someone who is looking to work within a growing environment where work structure and success are totally decided by the employee, freedom and responsibility are the key ethics of this fast growing company who are developing and enhancing the market with new machines and increased ability to operate in new and challenging environments. The ability to work as part of a team is necessary however an emphasis on individual work to produce design manuals is equally important.
The current projects are for some of the largest operators in the world and the ideal candidate would enjoy working within a diverse nationality group.
Required:
• Knowledge of Erocode 3, CDS guide and DNV rules.
• Experience with offshore delivery of equipment for pipe handling and drilling.
• Strong English writing and verbal skills
