ENGINEERING JOBS
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead process campaigns from the start to the completion of production; monitor, track and troubleshoot all process problems and deviations
* Prepare and develop recipes for the process control system
* Identify and implement innovative solutions and ideas to reduce costs and enhance productivity. Lead in generating improvement ideas and facilitating the implementation
* Identify potential areas of concerns in the process performance and drive the implementation of prevention strategies
* Participate in all aspects of plant activities including providing technical leadership to operations personnel for process and unit operations understanding
* Develop training materials and deliver process and equipment training
* Participate in cross-functional teams in problem resolution and enhance work flow processes across functions
* Ensure that all operations are performed within safety, quality and environmental standards while striving for optimum efficiency
Requirements:
* Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical / chemical industry
*Working knowledge of cGMP and the regulatory requirements in relation to safety and FDA is preferred
*Good planning and facilitation skills, and proven performance in problem-solving, resourcefulness and commitment to continuous improvements
*A self-starter who can work on his/her own initiative
*Team player with demonstrated ability to work effectively across functional teams and at multiple levels within the organization
