PROJECT ENGINEER - ELECTRICAL
Contract Hire Oil & Gas Industry
Minimum Requirement:
B.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
Multi discipline knowledge is an advantage. 10 years experience in planning and scheduling or projects of which a minimum of 8 years in the design/construction/modification of offshore projects within the oil industry.
Experience in revamp/brown field projects is an added advantage. Age: 28-50 years
Language: Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory. - Responsible to carry out project management activities related to small projects (predominantly electrical discipline) in brown field in oil & gas environment.
- Accountable for delivery of project within agreed targets of project budget, schedule and objectives. - Manages schedule and budget risk assessment sessions and develops risk simulation models to mitigate/monitor / manage project schedule & cost risks.
- Monitors the Cost & Schedule and reports on the Performance for all Schemes.
- Supports the Line Manager in the finalization of the Project Strategy, Project execution, contract administration, evaluation of claims and close out reports.
- Carries out management reporting and liaison with Corporate Planning, Finance Division, Commercial Division, Internal & External Auditors.
