ENGINEERING JOBS
A major Oil and Gas operator is currently seeking a HUC Lead to oversee the site contractor during construction phase on a major natural gas project.
The main responsibility of this role is to provide the interface between the work face and the Execution Lead. Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Assist in early site construction planning/construction planning interface with EPC contractors prior to site mobilization
• Serve as day to day interface with EPC contractors at the work site during the construction phase – provide a focus on safety, quality, cost and schedule
• Serve as liaison with the team lead on emerging issues
• Provide project interface with platform supervision and operations support
• Provide pre-commissioning/mechanical completion oversight/verification
• Supervise the mechanical completion phase and transition to final Hookup and Commissioning Phase
• Coordinate construction Advisors
• Coordinate Quality/HSE audits
• Identify potential project change requests and provide information and data as required by the Project for change management.
To be considered for this role you must have:
• 15+ years experience in the upstream offshore oil and gas industry
• 10 years offshore construction experience (5 years in a lead position)
• Extensive knowledge of project management and construction processes
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering
