ENGINEERING JOBS
A major International Operator requires an Energy systems and other utilities engineer to join their Bangalore office in India. For visa reasons this role is open to Indian Nationals only.
The Energy systems and other utilities specialist is part of the Utilities and Heat Transfer Engineering Delivery Group. The purpose of this position is to deliver Energy systems technical and consulting type of services excl. (process) water treatment and integration, to be a service provider of first choice with a clear added value, to develop, maintain and apply innovative knowledge in this field , to work for RDS operating companies, joint ventures and non-Company customers as activity leader or via other parts of the P&T organisation and to be part of a learning organization in which it is fun to work .
The Energy Systems technologist is expected to have mastery level in the key discipline area competencies as indicated below:
- Energy systems incl heat transfer fluids ( including steam systems
- Fuel systems and flare recovery
- Cooling systems
- Instrument air and other industrial gases ( especially O2 and N2)
- Sound understanding is required on energy and CO2 efficiency
The specialist shall also have knowledge level in key competencies as per below:
- Process knowledge specifically of main processes in refineries, chemical plants and upstream facilities
- Delivers Results & Champions Customer Focus - Analyses & Solves Problems
- Champions customer and stakeholder focus and building of a shared vision
- Maximizes business opportunities
- Displays interpersonal effectiveness
He/she should preferably have an academical degree or equivalent in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Dependent on Job Group you should have up to 15 years of professional experience in the oil and chemical industry or in other energy intensive industries. The Specialist is expected to have a sound background in (process) engineering , successful experience working as part of a team, self motivated to learn. Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to listen well. Results oriented. Customer focused.
