Title: Project Control Engineer - Cost/Planning - Subsea/Upstream
Location: Houston
Length of contract: ongoing min 12 months
Salary: Competitive

Restriction: Position is only open to candidates eligible to work in the USA
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES/POSITION DESCRIPTION: With minimal supervision, the individual at this level is responsible for independently applying advanced project controls, techniques and analyses. May provide some technical guidance to less experienced planning/scheduling and/or cost engineering personnel. Provides the tools and systems necessary to effectively and proactively manage, control, and report on cost and schedule for concurrent projects throughout the organization. Identifies and tracks all changes or potential changes to the project scope, ensuring estimates of cost changes and schedule impact are given visibility with the client and project management. Integrates cost and schedule data and reporting with the accounting and management information systems to facilitate meeting company performance and financial goals.
MAJOR JOB QUALIFICATIONS: (SKILLS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE): Engineer requires Bachelor degree in Engineering and the Specialist requires equivalent years of experience. Basic knowledge of a specialized or technical field such as accounting, business administration, mechanical, civil, or electrical technology. Working knowledge of cost accounting. Must be computer literate with working knowledge of scheduling and cost systems and other software.
Seven years or up to 10 years equivalent experience.

P6 is a must with a strong cost background.
Experience with Upstream subsea preferred
