ROV Projects Manager – West Division
PURPOSE OF JOB
- Responsible for assigned projects Profit & Loss with the target to minimize costs and maximize revenues.
- Execute of activities in line with Company and Client HSE and QA requirements.
- To take ownership of individual contracts liaising with the Clients appointed contact to resolve all technical and logistical challenges associated with the execution of Contracts
- Assisting Operations in negotiating and recording contract variations
- Communicating project objectives and plans to operational staff
- Ensure that Risk assessments are in place and that all operations are done in accordance with the approved Safety Policy
- Facilitating the collection of data from DPR’s and other sources to support invoicing of clients on a monthly basis
- Control of planned maintenance on equipment used in the project to ensure all equipment remains fit for purpose
- To control purchasing of project required equipment and materials and arrange the shipment to the project worksite ensuring that all export license regulations are adhered to.
- Reporting to Projects Director, on a weekly basis, project progress and any problems encountered
- Line management of all Offshore Operational personnel directly involved in the contract or project including the organization of annual leave, crew changes and travel and welfare plans
- Generating from contract reviews mobilization plans in conjunction with the Technical Director ensuring that all personnel and materials are available at the correct times and locations to enable projects to be undertaken in a professional manner

- Reporting data collected from DPR’s and other sources in a timely and concise manner, complete with all contractually required supporting information, to all the generation of invoices
- Control of the engineering information required to support the offshore operations and systems maintenance
- The control of project purchasing, stores, logistics, and liaising with the QA and HR Departments on the selection of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors to ensure that materials are of the correct standard and suppliers are suitably qualified for the service being provided
- Timetabling preventative maintenance to ensure that equipment remains fully operational and available to meet the Client’s requirements
- Maintaining records of defects and down time.
- Degree qualified in an Engineering or Science subject
- Minimum of 10 years experience in offshore engineering or construction with 3 years being at Supervisor level
- An in-depth knowledge of offshore engineering techniques used in support of offshore & subsea operations including overseeing the mobilization and commissioning process required to bring an ROV system to an operational state
- Wide-ranging Engineering skills and knowledge
- Thorough understanding of International, National and local Legislation and the effects that it has upon the areas of the company’s operations
- Must have excellent organizational capabilities, self-motivated with excellent Client facing communication skills
- Excellent people management skills

- Experience of working in a fast paced dynamic environment
- Computer literate
