Sr. Structural Engineer (Offshore) for Qatar
Location: Qatar
Duration: 1 year extendable (Direct Hiring on successful completion of contract duration).
Job Description:
Must have a minimum of 10 years work experience, with adequate experience in the design of offshore structures preferably for fixed offshore platforms.
The candidates needs to perform in place, fatigue (determinitic and spectral), loadout transportation, lift, on-bottom stability, pile driveability (optional), push over analyses and carry out design of various components, like boatlanding, protector structure, connections, pad-eyes, etc. Should have adequate hands on experience in SACS. Experience in GRLWEAP will be an added advantage (not much). Familiarity with international codes and standards such as API RP 2A, AISC is required. The candidate should be able to independently perform analyses, design and checking of drawing. Graduate degree in civil engineering from a recognized university/ engineering college is a minimum requirement. Post graduation in structural engineering/ ocean engineering will be given advantage.
