Progressive recruitment is looking for a HSE Safety Engineer for a project of at least 1 year in Antwerp. You will help a major Oil and Gas company in overseeing an Oil and sands project.You will write basic design followed by the detailed design As a Safety engineer you will be responsible for the review and approvals that are related to the design contractor’s safety engineering and to help in various safety reviews.

Location: Antwerp
Contract: Freelance
Contract length: 1 year
Contract Rate: Market rates
Start date: between 20 October and 20 November

General tasks:
- You will be working as a safety engineer
- Help the customer with safety reviews
- Safety design

Skills:
- 10 years technical Safety Engineering (HAZOP, HAZAN,
- Fire-Fighting & Fire and gas philosophy (firewall / fire protection / interface management)
- Team player and motivated

Languages:
- English and Dutch
