Offshore Drilling Supervisor - Perth - Contract - Operator

A global operator is currently searching for an offshore DAY DRILLING SUPERVISOR ready for their drilling campaign which begins late in 2011. Not only will the offshore day drilling supervisor be involved in one of the most exciting projects in WA but they will also be surrounded by a team of experienced engineers and managers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in oil and gas projects.
- 2+ years of experience as a day drilling supervisor on semi-submersible rigs
- Effective communication skills with an ability to interact with subordinates and managers at all levels
- History of leading a team of staff, consultants and external contractors
Candidates with a range of experience in global locations including deepwater experience would be highly desirable but these skills are not essential. The initial contract will be 5 months and has the possibility of extension into projects in the South-East Asian region.
